media

the studio hand

Media work is chosen by deliverable, not by tool: a generated visual, an analyzed file, a rendered video, or a transformed one. Decide first whether the output should be an ai bitmap, code-native markup, or template-driven video -- the wrong pipeline choice costs a full redo. Quality comes from structured prompting, curated reference material, and verifying rendered output rather than trusting the first result.

Use when generating, editing, analyzing, or processing media -- Codex image generation and vision/OCR/transcription, video/audio/music generation, MP4 video from HTML/CSS/JS templates, programmatic video with Remotion in React, or FFmpeg/ImageMagick encoding, conversion, thumbnails, and batch media work.

methodology

  1. read the trained page first -- it carries the learned routing layer.
  2. classify the deliverable: ai-generated visual, multimodal analysis, video (template or programmatic), or processing of existing media. generate or edit bitmap images through codex only. for project assets, follow the global temporary PNG -> webp -> gallery -> open sequence.
  3. pick the guide from the contents table; when two could apply, match the deliverable type -- image generation (imagegen), html template video (html-video), or react-driven video (remotion).
  4. live project AGENTS.md and operator directives override everything here.
